# KAØS & CO. > KAØS & Company Atelier is an independent Milwaukee design house creating one-of-one wearable artifacts for recording artists, professional athletes, cultural figures, and individuals who refuse the ordinary. Every commission begins with research. The House studies the subject’s history, influences, achievements, visual language, environment, and intended moment. Those findings are translated into original symbolism, custom artwork, considered materials, and a garment designed to communicate identity before a word is spoken. The Atelier is supported by a focused team spanning creative direction, original artwork, research, documentation, brand development, technical design, patternmaking, and specialist garment construction. Each discipline contributes to a unified process while every creative decision remains governed by the standards and vision of the House. From hand-cut leather and signature stitching to custom patterns, hardware, finishing, and presentation, every element is developed with purpose. The process is documented from the first reference through sampling, construction, and final completion, establishing the history and provenance of each piece. Nothing is pulled from a standard collection. Nothing is created without meaning. Every accepted commission is built for one individual and designed to become part of their legacy. Born from disorder. Forged under fire. Built to leave a legacy. - Email: ryan@kaosandco.com - Phone: +14146999076 - Address: Milwaukee, WI, USA - Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday: Closed - Tuesday, Thursday: 09:00–15:00 Timezone: America/Chicago - **WHAT DOES KAØS & COMPANY ATELIER CREATE?** The House creates one-of-one garments and wearable artifacts developed around the identity, story, and purpose of each client. Commissions are available for recording artists and performers, professional athletes and public figures, and individuals seeking a deeply personal piece. - **HOW DOES THE COMMISSION PROCESS BEGIN?** Every commission begins with an inquiry and consultation. We discuss your story, intended use, timeline, creative direction, and practical requirements. If the project aligns with the House, you will receive an official quotation and Letter of Acceptance before development begins. - **HOW MUCH RESEARCH GOES INTO EACH COMMISSION?** Research is foundational to the Atelier process. The House studies your career, history, influences, achievements, visual language, and relevant cultural references. That research informs the silhouette, materials, symbolism, construction, and smallest details of the finished piece. - **IS EVERY GARMENT TRULY ONE OF ONE?** Yes. Atelier commissions are developed for one specific individual and are not reproduced as standard products. Each piece carries its own project identity, development history, and place within the House archive. - **HOW MUCH DOES A COMMISSION COST?** Pricing is provided following consultation and depends on the project’s complexity, materials, research, development, sampling, construction, and timeline. The House does not provide generic pricing because no two commissions require the same level of work. - **HOW LONG DOES A COMMISSION TAKE?** Timelines vary by project. A commission may require several weeks or several months depending on research, sourcing, sampling, construction, fittings, and documentation. Required dates must be disclosed during the initial inquiry, but acceptance does not guarantee that every requested deadline can be accommodated. - **WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE DOCUMENTATION?** The House documents the commission from initial research and concept development through material selection, sampling, construction, and completion. Select projects include a dedicated Atelier dossier preserving the story, process, craftsmanship, and provenance of the piece. - **CAN I REQUEST AN EXACT COPY OF ANOTHER GARMENT?** No. References are welcome, but the House does not reproduce another designer’s work or duplicate an existing Atelier commission. Every accepted project must become an original expression of the client and the House. - **DO YOU ACCEPT EVERY COMMISSION?** No. Each inquiry is reviewed for creative alignment, timeline, feasibility, and the House’s ability to serve the project properly. Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee acceptance. ## Services - [One-of-One Performance Piece](https://www.kaosandco.com/services/custom-stagewear-design.md): A singular performance piece built to embody your story and command the stage. - [SIGNATURE PROFESSIONAL COMMISSION](https://www.kaosandco.com/services/custom-leather-applique.md): One-of-one garments for athletes, executives, and public figures—researched, handcrafted, and documented around your identity. - [PERSONAL ATELIER COMMISSION](https://www.kaosandco.com/services/custom-streetwear-design.md): One-of-one garments created from your story, memories, influences, and personal identity. ## Contact & Social - [instagram](https://instagram.com/kaosandco_official) ## Pages - [Home](https://www.kaosandco.com/index.md) - [SIGNATURE PROFESSIONAL COMMISSION](https://www.kaosandco.com/services/custom-leather-applique.md) - [One-Of-One Performance Piece](https://www.kaosandco.com/services/custom-stagewear-design.md) - [PERSONAL ATELIER COMMISSION](https://www.kaosandco.com/services/custom-streetwear-design.md)
